Clowns Helping Refugee Children Through Play

About the organisation

Between 2018 and 2021 Proper Good delivered fundraising films for Cure Parkinson’s, a charity focused on finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

They fund research to slow, stop, or reverse the disease.

About the project

Between 2015 and 2017 Proper Good worked with The Flying Seagulls, a group of clowns helping refugees across the world through play therapy. They followed the clowns through refugee camps across Europe, documenting the clowns incredible dedication to connecting with refugee children and helping make the camps a more bearable place to be. This led to BBC3 series Amazing Humans acquiring the content. The film has had over 68 million views on Facebook.

Our campaign results

The film has been launched by Cure Parkinson’s on it’s social channels and at in person events.
